Jon Doll began his musical life in the ninth grade when he formed a rock & roll band in Sheboygan WI and became the singing drummer for ‘The Primates’. The band's first gig was at the Bitter End. His early love of music evolved into a long successful career as a singer/songwriter.
Jon has performed across England playing gigs in the London boroughs of Richmond, Camden and Greenwich. In addition to entertaining people in Glastonbury during its summer annual festival he has performed at the Winter Solstice Festival in Avebury.
Jon has written and performed songs for diverse audiences in settings ranging from corporate boardrooms to hotel ballrooms, Marine barracks, coffeehouses and taverns. He has chronicled his business and non-profit life in song and entertained audiences large and small.
Most recently Jon has been performing private concerts throughout Wisconsin in a variety of unique venues and settings including campfires and weddings on Big Portage Lake and private house concerts in Madison, Sheboygan, Manitowoc and Sturgeon Bay.
Jon writes songs not only recounting his own experiences and observations but he has also been commissioned to write songs for individuals and corporations. These include weddings, special occasions, corporate events, community festivals, college football teams (Universities of Oregon and Washington) and awareness concerts highlighting social issues.
In 2013, Jon won the Cedarburg Cultural Center’s prestigious song-writing competition at the Blueburg Café outside of Milwaukee WI.
Jon has the unique ability to entertain people of all ages with his original acoustic guitar-playing, story-telling, singing and songwriting.
